Lebanon, Ohio
Our very first trip was to Cedarbrook Campground in Lebanon Ohio. Today it’s the Lebanon Holiday KOA. We chose this campground because it was just down the road from where we live, and we wanted to test drive camping in the Georgetown while we were close to home in case anything happened. It was the perfect time of year, the leaves were falling off the trees, it was cool in the evenings and perfect for a campfire. We were so excited to take her (yes her) for a spin!

Lebanon KOA
This campground is a hidden gem. Nestled about two blocks outside of Historic Downtown Lebanon, it’s the perfect place to stay if you’re the mood for just about anything. While staying here, we kept talking about it didn’t feel like were were in Lebanon at all. The tree cover here made us feel secluded away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The map has changed slightly since we’ve camped there, but I believe we stayed in site 67. It was a great site for us because we were close the playground. The campground has since expanded and they’ve added some great new features, like the bounce pillow, more cabins, and even tents sites.
Other great places to visit in the area: Historic Downtown Lebanon for shopping, eating and site-seeing, Caesar’s Creek State Park. Some of our favorite spots for pinta and bites include Greenhouse Cafe, Doc’s Place, Broadway Barrel House and for a pint, you can head to Lebanon Brewing Company
Pints
Lebanon Brewing Company is one of our favorites. It’s located in an old firehouse, and the atmosphere is great! There’s a large outdoor patio, and of course, the large firehouse doors are open during the warmer months. The LBC Taproom boasts many options ranging from their Mexican Lager, Amigo at 4.7% ABV to Barrel Ages Imperial Stout, Most Best at 10% ABV. Of course there’s IPA’s, a blond Ale and many Non Beer and Non Alcoholic drinks to enjoy. Ladder 41’s taproom kitchen rotates some items, but if you’re there, you have to get their Lebanon Fries. Situated in the heart of Historic Downtown Lebanon, there’s not reason for you to pass this place up if you in town.
